• my phone is quietly charging on the desk beside me, the battery bars going up 1-2-3, 0, then 1-2-3 again. my phone is hungry, greedily gulping up its fill of battery. i must have starved it for too long, poor thing.

  such a colourful and diverse world we live in! too bad most of us will only see it through the work of those who travel the world in search of the perfect shoot.my excuse(s): i don't have the time, the $, the resources, the guts, opportunity cost is too high... the discovery channel is my friend these days.
  

  
  

  everytime i get my bank statement after a month of heavy spending i feel like i was getting my school report card after a semester of slacking off.  oooh that familiar feeling of dread (i know it's bad.. but exactly _how_ bad??) and so i leave the envelop unopened on the corner of my desk, eye it with guilt from time to time, but put off opening it until i absolutely have to.  which would be never if i was a trust fund baby...
