metamorphosis
i used to consider myself pretty independent. i liked having my own space, i didn't mind it when my bf's were out of town as it meant i got to spend time with my own friends. run errands. do my own thing. what was it - a long-distance relationship, followed by a jerk who really didn't care - both gave me tons of time for myself
but it's all different with pic. since being with him, i've grown to be... dependent. i enjoy spending time with him; i don't breath a sigh of relief when he's not available to spend time with me. these days, even as he's out of town i opt to stay at home and hang out with my cats. i have to _seriously_ motivate to go out to meet up with friends (yes yes you don't have to remind me, friends are important... i'm trying). as for going out? only on rare occasions. it's just not that fun anymore
so there. stella the socialite? whoosh! gone! i am anonymous once again.
but as long as we're together...
Tell me, will i bore you at some point?
btw... Desperate housewives anyone? Consider: possible future: a combination of Lynette and Bree

I used to think just like you - until recently - that i am actually kinda looking fwd when he's away and have fun with my friends - so things will change. and i know what you mean that it's not that fun anymore going out. Hey let's have dinner while our bfs are away - we can use a fun girl's nite!
re staying home - stella - that's called AGING!
trust me - have been there myself.

I have to agree with ernestf that wanting to stay home is all part of getting older. lately, i've been trying to compensate by inviting gfs over.
I've gone through the same metamorphosis, but not until after we got married!!! =) A husband will drain all your energy, so you have none left for anything else.
I am glad you enjoy the songs. As far as loving again-- if/ when I heal from this I'll consider that option. But thanks for the kind words.
"Do not go gentle into that good night;
"Rage, rage, against the dying of the light."
